Penelope and the Ghost’s Treasure by Ron D. Voigts

This book picks up where the last Penelope book left off. She’s on her way to start boarding school – and more than a little miserable about the prospect. And no wonder, on the first day of school she earns the nickname “teacher Killer”. things can only get worse from there.

With a new batch of zanny, off beat characters, and a visit from a few old ones, this was easily as good as the first book, if not better. Again, I would recommend this for 10 +. Also of note, it’s not necessary to have read the first book in order to enjoy this one, though it does make it better.

As to the mystery? I did solve a portion of the mystery (no telling which bit) but not all of it. Well done, again, Mr. Voigts!
